Mystery on Broadway
One of my most memorable experiences in attending the theatre on Broadway was seeing the Sherlock Holmes Crucifer of Blood play which also featured Glenn Close. While i have enjoyed other plays to date I have not had an experience that has matched that. When it comes to Broadway I clearly appreciate the musicals and spectaculars that have come to the great stages, but I would love to see mystery brought back to Broadway not as a musical which seems to always be the theme these days and not as a minimalist set as is seen in some plays but as a full blown production with sets and music that complements the scene not overwhelms it. It would be great to see The Thin Man or any of Agatha Christies stories brought to life.
